Driving along the highway that leads to Sorrento, you should visit the ancient city of Pompeii, known worldwide for the excavations and the ruins.
It will be a fascinating journey, because you can visit the excavations and the ruins of a city buried by dust after the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 A.C.
Then you can visit Sorrento, known worldwide for citrus and handicraft products carved in the wood.
The best way to visit this town is wandering through the great shopping streets and the pretty old town, tasting a glass of Limoncello and enjoying the spectacular view of the Gulf of Naples and Vesuvius from the Villa Comunale. You can also visit the old churches or the Museo Correale, or relax drinking a coffee in Piazza Tasso.
From the harbor of Sorrento you can reach the island of Capri with an hydrofoil (25 minutes).
The Island of Capri is one of the most picturesque and visited locations in Campania. The deep sea and the caves ( Grotta azzurra), the prestigious square and the famous “ via Tragara”.
Here you can see three splendid fragments in the sea known as “ I faraglioni”.
Capri is also known for its exclusive fashion boutiques, which carry many brands by famous designers.
The return in Naples is expected in late afternoon.

A Pompeii tour is entirely on foot and involves around 2 hours of walking. To completely enjoy your Pompeii and Capri tour we suggest hiring an official English speaking licensed guide that we can find on site (about 250,00 Euro for 5/6 hours and not included in our rate).
Entrance fee to Pompeii ruins is 12 (euro).
Hydrofoil ticket is 14 (euro) each way.
Pompeii is not wheel chair accessible.
If you would like to have lunch our driver can suggest a snack bar, restaurant or pizzeria. To avoid unpleasant surprises its always best to inform your driver on how much you would like to spend and the time involved.
Our rate includes a vehicle and English speaking driver-guide for the entire duration of this tour taxes, tolls, fuel and parking fees. It does not include private guides, entrance fees, hydrofoils, gratuities or meals unless mentioned in our confirmation.
Our English speaking driver will give a general overview regarding the history of the sites or monuments while in the car. He will allow all the time you need to visit with NO RUSHING as in group tours. By Italian law he is unable to conduct guiding inside museums, monuments, etc.
