Visiting Pisa & Florence all in one day
Your driving-guide will be waiting for you directly near the gangway of your ship with the air-conditioned vehicle of your choice and a sign with your name to drive you to Pisa and then Florence or vice-versa depending on highway traffic
This tour includes Florence plus a visit to the historical town of Pisa where we first visit the "Leaning Tower" then the Duomo and the Baptistry. Afterwards we're off to Florence.
Many of the world's most important works of art are located in Italy and approximately half of these are in Florence. The cultural and historical impact of Florence is overwhelming.
We'll start the tour from Michelangelo's Square where you will have a breathtaking view over the city of Florence.
FLORENCE PRIVATE TOUR
We'll then drive down to the church of Santa Croce where some of the most important Italian artists are buried: (Michelangelo, Galillei, etc.). Then we're off to take you around the city to visit the Duomo, Giotto's Bell Tower, the Signoria Square and Palace and Pitti Palace. We continue on to allow you to visit the "Accademy Museum" to visit the David by Michelangelo and/or to the "Uffizi Gallery". You can also enjoy lunch at a local Italian restaurant near the central plaza, then visit the most elegant Ponte Vecchio "Old Bridge" It is home to gold shops and jewelery vendors.
If you like, we can also leave time for you to enjoy a gelato ice cream, or do some shopping, Florence is famous for shoes and leather.
We'll retun to your ship in the afternoon
